THOSE WONDERFUL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
NORMAN BROOKS IN FILM, TELEVISION, RADIO, & CLUB PERFORMANCES

The Career Of Norman Brooks spans the realm of entertainment. The vocal talent that we all enjoy today thrilled audiences time and again. Norman Brooks was showcased in four motion pictures. Pictured here is Norman prepping for his role as Al Jolson with director Michael Curtiz in the 1956 feature film "The Best Things In Life Are Free" in which Norman sang "Sonny Boy." A second saw Norman on stage singing " I'm Gonna Live Til I Die " with sister Ann in the popular best ever casino heist in the 1960 film "Ocean's Eleven." We heard Norman singing  "I'm Sittin' On Top Of The World" so remarkably in the 1983 Woody Allen film "Zelig" that I defy anyone to distinguish Norman's rendition to that of "Jolie" himself. Norman played "Brand" a non vocal role, in the 1964 Tony Orlando film "The Block."

Norman's television appearances are so numerous, I'll mention just a few such as Milton Berle Show, Arthur Godfrey Talent Scouts, This Is Show Business, Joan Fairfax, and Johnny Carson Tonight Show. At the top of just about every Hit Parade, radio stations were waiting in line for Norman to do a quick interview and sing a few notes of his latest hit single that was in all the local jukeboxes.

And lastly......oh those wonderful, never to be forgotten club appearances. I had the thrill of a lifetime seeing Norman in person and "those magical moments" have stayed with me for a lifetime. As above   space permits mentioning just a few but the list would go on and on. Perhaps you were there at the Copacabana in New York, the Beachcomber in Miami, the Latin Casino in Philadelphia, or the Latin Quarter in Boston. So many to mention but Norman's voice brought the house down and the thrill of "The Voice You'll Remember" Norman Brooks will never be forgotten.
